If the party insiders tell us who we must get behind in 2008, I reccommend we put our hands over our billfolds and back out of the room carefully.I couldn't agree more. The big money men (Poppy's friends) all got behind W early on to force everyone else out...not that I can remember anyone else in the running who got me excited. I don't know what we are going to do. Is there no honest conservative that we can back???
I thought at the time that W would be at least a fiscal conservative.

It's actually the opposite-he IS, for the most part, socially conservative enough, it's his fiscal and immigration policies I disagree with.
