The screwed up part about this broad was that she AFTER THE COOL MOM PARTY, let a 14 year old boy drive while she was the only adult in the car and he crashed. Was this woman not accepted as a teenager or something that is obsessed with being adored by teenagers? Jeez.

Bingo. During the trial, this was one of the things discussed. Cool Mom (and I'm still amused that monicker stuck) was not popular during high school and when her kids approached that age, she decided to make up for it.
I suspect the judge took that into consideration in handing out this sentence. She should have been a wee tad more cautious while awaiting sentencing.
