Torture is illegal under U.S. law. Please cite any administration initiative which would change that.
Please tell why restricting our prisoner handling strategy to what is laid out in a public domain document would be a good strategy.
Please describe currently used U.S. interrogation techniques which qualify as torture.

At least I participated on the winning side in PA last year. If I'm "in over my head" then what derogatory comments would you have to say about the PA losers? Actually, ErnBatavia was off the mark. You're in over your head when dealing with reality. Politics is just one segment of it.

Gee, I had no idea that you didn't agree with the methods and ideology of the Soviet Union.
Color me impressed. :P

Three soldiers have been ordered to stand trial on murder charges in General Mowhoush's death. Yet the Pentagon cannot point to any intelligence gains resulting from the techniques that have so tarnished America's image. That's because the techniques designed by communist interrogators were created to control a prisoner's will rather than to extract useful intelligence. So wait a minute...these soldiers are being court martialed for murder, but you and the NYT are going to pretend that they were following established interrogation procedures? Bullfeathers.

It's pretty obvious that the old adage, "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" applies to this intelligence gathering operation. How do the actions of your "greatest living president" and the 2004 Dem nominee in slashing the intel budgets fit into the whole intel gathering mojo?
Other approaches with prisoners are much more effective than torture.
For instance, we tried a couple of things down at Gitmo that fell well short of torture, with mixed results. First, we threatened to make the prisoners listen to MurryMom talk about politics. That didn't work because Al Qaeda guys adore her kind of politics because it makes their job so easy. So we switched tacks and brought in an imam who told them that all the virgins in paradise look like MurryMom, and that Allah also requires post-coital cuddling. They all immediately abandoned their radical version of Islam, and sang like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
The only downside to a more humane approach is that sadistic christofascists in the Bush Administration won't have any fun.
Please back up your characterization of christofascism with a fact or two.

I was going to respond to your crocoile tears post to Chena in order to inform you that none of we family members, or vets or those serving currently need any sympathy from a terrorist sympathizing blowhard like yourself.
But then I noticed that you got banned for doing it and I figured that was good enough. Have a nice Air Force day.

Just another example of the Bush Administration having no respect for the truth. "Yeah, you tell 'em, baby! By the way, wanna kiss it?"
Oh, here's YOUR "honest" President with some interesting folks...
Bill and the Ridays AND John Huang
And gee, did he tell Juanita Broaddrick to "put some ice on it" AFTER this pic?
Obviously, this pic was taken before his goons killer Kathleen Willey's cat and threatened her!
So, in the game of "moral relativism", you and your ilk STILL suck worse!
