And as if on cue, we get this article a day later:
Police used 'dum dum' bullets to kill de Menezes-(incidently, reporters are dum dum), decrying the use of hollow point ammo by the British police in taking down the supposed bomber in the underground. The authority to use HP ammunition was given because of its stopping power to turn out the lights of someone about to trigger a bomb. As the article says, there is no prohibition against the police using such ammo but note the headline handwringing over what we'd consider a no-brainer. Expect nothing less from an International Criminal Court turning on our military over their choice in ammunition.
