A really Machiavellian fellow might be tempted to think that GWB, "he lay low," as Uncle Remus said, for several months, as the Democrats and MSM tried to top each other with more and more acts of rhetorical sabotage against the WOT.
And having gotten them on the record saying all those asinine, treasonous things, in many cases contradicting their own statements of three years ago, he'll be letting them have it for the next year for disrespecting the troops—and skunk them in the mid-term elections once again.
Too far-fetched? Too indirect? I dunno. The man has been misunderestimated before. We could see some of these Demo-clowns running from their current statements before April.
