I think Chris Shays is going to take him on when he returns... should prove an interesting show down between the real conservatives and the Soros Republicans.

"I think Chris Shays is going to take him on when he returns..."

What makes you say that?

Shays has tried to do so before. he's always gotten a blistered butt in return. I suspect no different will occur this next time.

Delay knows the skeletons and weakness of the RINO's. He knows how to break arms of RINO's and DINO's for that matter. Maybe now people will show him a little more respect about these parts. I realize they were the minority, but still.

Yeah, can complain about his remarks over spending but he always railroaded conservatives items through too and no doubt he would have settled ANWR before now. It's his job to get votes. he does that better than anyone. Want a more conservative agenda, press Hastert. That's his role in this partnership.

I fear a sane person has invaded the AP office, is holding the AP staff hostage, and is issuing bogus AP stories filled with accurate and unbiased information

LOL!

I can't imagine this case going to trial. First you enter a stipulation with that crackpot Earle:

1) Was it illegal for the PAC to receive the corporate money that it did? NO?

2) Was it illegal for the PAC to forward the funds to the Republican national committee? NO?

If both questions is true than it is end of case because once the lawful moneies are turned over to the RNC it is no longer corporate money, but RNC money.

Good luck Ronnie!

Because Chris Shays already made a public statement several weeks ago that he doesn't want DeLay back in his job -- even if he is exonerated.... given that Shays has been "off the reservation" since DeLay has been sidelined, my guess is he will be equally as vocal when it comes to this...

I think we can all see what a good job DeLay was doing in holding the GOP congress together and how it's frayed since he has been otherwise engaged.

Speaking of ANWR -- did you hear Hannity's shoot out with the GOP Congressman from either NJ or Maryland (sorry, I can't remember which) yesterday?????? The congressman sounded a lot more like a DEM than a REP and at the end almost hung up on Sean rather than answer the questions.

"The charges are going to get thrown out, and DeLay will return to business as usual."

It will be a little different because Tom is gonna be pissed and go after Dim and RINO hides. It will be "Republican House Majority II: The Wrath of Tom"

Tom's attorney is again showing his prowess.

If possible, attorneys will always press for a trial shortly before Christmas. Jury members are more apt to be loving and giving right before the holiday....plus they usually want to declare the defendent innocent so they can get the hell out of the confines of the jury room to get to their Christmas shopping and fruit cake baking.

Some Repubs are totally out of control. What is the point of having a majority in both the House and the Senate if they are only RINOs? They won't vote with the party. So my conclusion is the Rats are still in charge and that is why they still act like they are in power. Now, if they would stop their incessant whining....
