I don't know who you are talking about no Vel, my exwife Velveeta S Brown would slap someone down who called her Vel. You had to know the real Velveeta to appreciate all 375# of her.

Earthquakes caused by global warming... mmmm okay, Wolf. *rolls eyes*

I'm no expert but that seems absurd to me.

***Gosh darn it, this is NOT MY FAULT!***

Aw, c'mon, Sir, we all KNOW it's your fault. And stop fiddling with those interesting little knobs on your machine, will ya?

OK, but if I do it will be a while. I'd kinda like to start by answering FAQ's, and need to compile a FAQ and answer list as a time saver.

Or I suppose I could do it all 'in a new unit of time'...

"BTW, I have a standing offer to answer any FReepr's questions about scientology, either in open forum, or via FReepmail."

Ok, I'll bite. Answer via FRmail if you prefer since this is straying quite far off topic..

Do they actually believe all that stuff? I mean the aliens and all? I find it difficult to believe that so many seemingly otherwise normal people believe in something as outlandish as the Scientology alien story - Atomic bombs in volcanos etc. (if what I have read is indeed true..).

That's funny. There is another FReeper named Velveeta. (a very nice, intelligent person) Just rather curious.

My sincere apologies to the Freeper Velveeta. I haven't met too many Velveetas in my life and spent 5 miserable years married to one(before she ran off with my ex best friend Maurice)
Freeper Velveeta, can you find it in your heart to forgive me? Especially since I am in the path of this beast of a Tsunami that George W has unleashed on us here in Washington state.

Do they actually believe all that stuff?

All of it? No.

I mean the aliens and all?

Yes. I've seen no compelling evidence that we are alone in the universe

I find it difficult to believe that so many seemingly otherwise normal people believe in something as outlandish as the Scientology alien story - Atomic bombs in volcanos etc. (if what I have read is indeed true..).

No more difficult than the miracles in the Bible, or a Mormon believing in a gold book, brought by angels, nor mooslimbs worshiping a stone that 'fell to earth like lightning'.

OTOH, the OTIII stuff strains my credulity quite a bit, as it doesn't fit with known geological and physical processes (and no dinosaurs 75 million years ago? What's with that??? I wanna see dinosaurs!)
