Such men's courage and bravery shall always be remembered. As in each conflict the USA has fought since it's conception, we shall always have those that serve with true honor and purpose. Few men enter battle with the idea of becoming a recognized hero. As you are most probably quite aware, Sargeant York's bravery was used latter on in WWII to rallie the troops, to expound upon the virtues of patriotism.
