As much as I appreciate the WH trotting these out every once in a while, its not forceful enough. Possibly too late to alter the public's mind expecially how the white house website is not a frequented source of information among the general population.
A case of too little too late but im hopeful to being wrong here.

I agree! I think it is great that these press releases go out..the news media is NOT going to put them out there...THere has to be a COMPETENT press secretary who has these quotes on hand at all times and can refer to them during the actual press conference.
I think that Republicans should have ads that show these senators saying these things. The press is NOT going to help Bush; they just keep putting Levin and the rest up there saying their crap.
Mehlman is good..but only one person. We need a press secretary who can refer to these points with ease and accuracy, punching the story every day to counteract the daily Democratic barrage seen on CNN.
