And he IS the senior Dim on the Senate intel committee, so it's not as if he was "just guessing", and the folks in Syria & Co. would know that.
I will ask my standard question:
IS IT TREASON YET?

Also, anyone know exactly when Bush first made public his intentions to hold Saddam accountable? Was it after January '02?

Careful - there are a lot of morons at FR who think you have to be loading the weapons of our enemies for it to be treason. (I would add a sarcasm tag, but unfortunately it's true.)

And don't forget that Rockefeller is the person behind the Dem's Intel Committee memo that Sean Hannity broke the story on a couple of years ago. That memo said that the Dem's had one shot at using the Intel committee investigation against the Republicans/President Bush. The trigger for that shot was pulled 2 weeks ago when Harry Reid demanded the "closed session."

Um....so if Rockefeller told Syria we were coming, then Iraq knew we were coming....and.....that would mean there was plenty of time to move out large quantities of WMD.
Right?

You are absolutely right. As the senior DemocRAT on that committee, he and the senior Repub get to see more information than any of the other members of THAT committee. He certainly has no excuse for being bamboozled. He, for one, should go sit down and shut up. The rest of them can fake that excuse, but not him.
