I've thought for a few years now that the Muslims were playing out their vision of the Apocalypse. It's telling to me that their expectations of the Imam Mahdi perfectly matches the Biblical profile of the Antichrist.
Well, not from their point of view. From their POV, Everything about the West -- our technology, our political systems, our music, fashions, etc. -- exactly matches the profile of the Dajjal given in the hadith.
