When the Democrats can explain to me how "Bush lied" about WMD when just about everyone agreed that Iraq had them (including the Clinton administration and many others, from 1998 onward before Bush even got to DC), then I will listen to them.
Until then, logic compels me to conclude that the Democrats are nothing but opportunists of the worst kind, out to do anything (including hurting the country, the war effort and our troops) in order to get back their power.
There's a word for that.

Soooo what they are saying is that they were stupid and got tricked? That'll inspire a lot of confidence in their leadership.

So the dumbest President in history, that 'moron' Bush was able to hoodwink some of the smartest people this country will ever see.
To: NormsRevenge
Then, the subtitle should be; "Biden, stupid and gullible."

I thought the oral sex was the trick?

a lie told often enough becomes the truth. we have allowed this lie to circulate for far too long. rather than their having to prove that it is true, WE are having to prove it's false.

Man if the 'idiot' President Bush was able to trick all of those 'supposed smarter than President Bush' senators into voting for war, well, then we have some very gullible senators on our hands.

that they were at least partially "snookered and tricked," Right. Cheney forced the CIA to lie to Congress. What punishment are you calling for? Impeachment of Bush and Cheney, but what about the CIA? Defunding? Lay out how you plan to deal with these perps.

It seems that in order to be considered a possibility for the 2008 Dem nomination, you have to publicly announce that:
1. You are stupid, because "dumb" Bush conned you.
2. You made a mistake in your vote on the war resolution..
IMHO it will be impossible for any Dem to take a pro-war stance..or even a "stay the course" position, in the primaries..

The game plan is to continue to use clever catch phrases no matter how misleading and damaging they may be. These folks are desperate to retake the congress. They will as in times past sell their souls to accomplish it. Mis-represent facts and tell outright lies long enough and even the perpetrators start to believe their own lies.

Ever notice that whenever things don't go right for a 'Rat, it was because their staff was incompetent/untrained/well-meaning but wrong or that they were tricked/fooled/mislead/uninfomed. The 'Rats actually WANT people to believe that they are incompetent and gullible. Maybe that's because anyone who would call themselves a Democrat is an incompetent, gullible fool.

the opportunities he squandered to unite the county and unite the world, If the world needed "uniting" - if the country needed "uniting", then who was it that left it in that shape, Joe?

Biden is more deceptive about his hairline than Bush was about anything regarding this war.

PS To say that the Democrats have demonstrated their utter lack of intellectual and moral qualifications for leadership of this country is the understatement of the decade.
I hope that the public comes to realize what's going on here. The fact that Dick Durbin, for example, can say what he did about our troops and still retain his Senate seat (rather than have a public outcry for his resignation that forces him to step down) is not a good sign at all for this country.
My heart breaks for what the Dems are saying about our troops, and doing to our troops. How can anyone in this country treat them that way?
My emotions are more profound than my ability to express them in words . . .
