Will someone please marry Maureen? Using her bully pulpit at The Times, she has managed to spin her inability to find a suitable mate into a national crisis.

Regarding Maureen Dowd: Perhaps a hint of a smile? A bit of humor? Life does not have to be unpleasant; it can be enjoyed.

What's a modern girl to do? Well, maybe she's to stop calling herself a girl when she's on the backside of 50. And perhaps she shouldn't call herself modern, either, when the entire article is your basic baby-boomer whine that the boomer girls didn't get everything they wanted.

I think she should quit her job and stop writing for awhile. Take up a new hobby or just do something new; maybe try ____? I don't know. Whatever. She needs a change.
perhaps she needs her beeber stuned
I don't know. Maybe she needs to spend more time with people who really have nothing, people in prison, or kids in the ghetto, something like that, so she can understand how blessed she is in her own life. She seems totally unaware to me. Just lost.

Uh, I think I you may have just put your finger on WHY she [Maureen Dowd] is single ... LOL
I'm thinking that Dowd could easily be the next Bobbit.

Surrogate motherhood?
One unhappy girl, that's for certain.
Even if men were "threatened" by intelligent, witty women, that wouldn't apply to her anyway.
I love smart women. Married one. And my good women friends are all smart. And especially smarter than Mo. Not that that is any great accomplishment.
She's got a great gig and if people are writing it means they're reading.
Emphasis on 'backside'. As in horse's.
You don't mean a møøse bite?!
That can be really nasti....
