As usual, the moonbats get it dead wrong. It's not that we are afraid that we are "buying a miniature lesbian companion" for our daughters; it IS that we refuse to support a company that gives money to causes we find abhorent.
That and funding propaganda encouraging them toward lesbianism, matrubation, and abortion.
Maybe it just pre-empted the sale of Hillary Clinton dolls, with Barbra Steisand as her accessory ;)
Not to mention that this company's main consumers aren't "young women", but 7-12 year old LITTLE GIRLS.
Of course, they know that......that's why they're making up FRAUDULENT CLAIMS REGARDING THE BOYCOTT!!!
What is this company donating to? pro-hmosexual groups
Exactly. No different if they were giving their money to Islamic terrorists.
Would I be concerned that my daughter would become a suicide bomber? No. Would I object to my money being used to promote terrorism? You bet.
Do we even need to imagine what the moonbat reaction would have been if American Girl had supported pro-life groups?
Exactly! I can spend my money where I want and I'm not going to knowingly support a company that contributes to immorality.
Nearly every time this wacko leftist tries to make a point, he either gets it completely backwards or just whiffs altogether.
My favorite was when he equated abortion with "preventing teen pregnancy", as if the girl never got pregnant at all if she kills her baby before it's born.
The American Girl uproar has really gotten to the lefties. If the company didn't engage in the joint venture with Girls Inc., he'd be ridiculing the company and its customers with more belittling trophy wife BS. Since they partnered with an abortion and lesbian-promoting Girls Inc., the righties get to slam them instead.
Postscript: This guy appeared on TV a week before the 2004 election and predicted John Kerry would win by a wide margin, ~ 10 points. He's out there in lala land.
