I made it all the way to the next sentence, that was far enough.

It's Bush's fault and the greedy conservitve's in America. blah, blah, blah.

If being poor was a reason to riot, America would have burned to the ground in the 30's.

Yah, but it did get better. The Rabbi finally made his way to talking about what it means to live in a society, with a shared culture, shared values. I bet it is a painful dawning for him (the Reb)as he is inching his way to admitting that some great measure of assimilation is necessary where cultures collide; "assimilation" is a curse word to him, I'm sure.

I agree with you about the 1930's!!!! Also, I was thinking the Rabbi could have been talking about Jewish ghettos, as well (isolated,etc)-- how often have they rioted!?

No, I think Tony Blankley (spelling?) had it right, in his book, "The Last Best Hope of the West ..." The RadMus teach their young that they are superior to infideldom, and thus can exploit it and exterminate it.
