Yes, definitely. Stories like that remind us what we are fighting for. Everything is relevant when we are at war and news stories have the power to move us in our attitude toward victory or toward defeat. That story was heartbreaking and makes the resolve of our soldiers to finish the job even more admirable.
My little grandson goes to school, church & play unafraid....that is what I pray the little ones in Iraq & Afghanistan will soon be able to do.....

In all the threads we have done I only remember one other that was even in that league. A story about a military couple in Seattle that got engaged and everyone bought them dinner and gave them standing ovations, it too was priceless. But your link just tore your heart out and told us what we are up against.
