The most frustrating thing I have experienced yet is the desire to defend my own position, and the President's, and my leader was silent!!! Very hard to engage in trench warfare (if the Internet can be compared to a trench) when you don't feel like the guys you are supporting are out there leading the cause. I am so glad that the GOP has found it to stand up and fight! All of us here are willing on one way or another to do our part, we just needed a strong leader to give us focus and a sense that our efforts aren't going to dissolve into the void with out doing any good.

One thing the Snake Carville taught the Dims so so very well is: Lie all you want, just make sure you lie really really loud, do it all the time, and even though it is a lie, people will begin to believe it, particularly if the other side isn't fighting back. That is why the President's poll numbers have dropped! Sure as shootin they will go back up, but until certain things are done by the Administration, (the Borders come to mind! HINT HINT!!!) we are going to have a bit of a hard time getting the average GOP'er to hop back on the band wagon.

If I was GWB I would call all the Senators and Reps that keep going off the Reservation into my office on a one to one visit, and serve something nice. That is the last time I would be nice to these idiots. I would lock the door and asked not to be disturbed, then I would scare them so bad with words,deeds and body language(like I was flipping out and homicidal) that they would need a change of undies after I finally let the pukes out of the room. They would be as afraid of me as Slick Willie is of Hillary. I know he can have a vicious temper, and he cools down pretty fast, and word will get around that he is drop dead serious. Since they are basic wimps anyway, it will not take much. That is what I would do by calling on my "inner Ogre". We all have it, I have six brothers so I have used it before on an emergency basis.
