I don't know if Rush has thought of it or not...but I wouldn't be surprised if he did...
I hate it when he is on vacation...I am sorry, but I am not a fan of his regular "subs"....
At least Tony Snow will get John Gibson...
BTW...if the cars that were burned were SUV's Bill O'Reilly would probably be cheering the terrorists!!!

I believe it's this unholy alliance between the media and Democrats that is driving the poll numbers because they are fighting to get back their lost influence over the country. When the history books are written many years from now on the Impeachment of GWB, Cheney, and Rumsfeld, they will have an entire chapter on the influence of the MSM and how they were able to get the "TRUTH" out to the masses, who then called on their Congressmen to take out the Bush Admin.

I second that emotion. They lacked any kind of respect for themselves let alone Miers,GWB and Laura. You have to earn someone's trust and they had earned it, but lost it by their unbelievably tone deaf behavior. I will never feel the same way about any of them. I know who to trust and it is not them. I have moved on,but they will not be included in any of my reading.

I remember when I lived in Boulder, I wore jean shorts in the winter most of the time...
And, though I didn't ski (too poor)...I heard tales of girls skiing in bikini tops...

Even though this weekend had alot of thing happen for Rush to comment on....most of it was just nonsense anyway.
I would really love to hear him just destroy the dim bulb known as Senator - I meet with heads of state myself -Rockefeller...who apparently is not responsible for discerning information so as to make a vote that carries irresponsibility

I think BOR is in male menopause, that would explain his outbursts and strange behavior. Oh wait, he has always been that way.LOL! I like Roger Hedgecock and Tom Sullivan, but I am not crazy about that Mark guy from Minnesota or Wisconsin. Hedgecock can get more ticked off with some of the pond scum seminar callers, but he is pretty good, and Sullivan is good about financial matters. I remember when Tony,Sean and the Movie reviewer Guy substituted, and they all have gone on to even more success.

I noticed a new MSM trick. They are now sneakily combining combat deaths and non combat deaths to make their Yahoo (AP/Reuters headlines). Picked this up from Err America who has been screaming about how the WH lies about the casualties on a daily basis - we all know how "corrupt" the GWB WH is. /sarcasm

"My understanding is it's all a mix"
At the risk of trying too hard to relate govt workers to corporate types....it sound like what I used to call PMS...that stood for "pre-merge syndrome" ...."post-merge syndrome" and in the worst possible cases "permanent-merge syndrome"
The goal always was to not lose business or good people in a merge....say that real fast and it sounds easy...but like trying to figure out who is Worth keeping in the govt. after a change of administrations, I bet it's a mess and a half!

I think too many Democrat Senators and Representatives are run by their staff, and not the other way around. Democrats try to find someone who can win, as their only criteria, and then let their staffs form their opinions and positions.
#####
When the Republican majorities increased in both houses there were a lot of superfluous Dem staff members in DC. I bet Very few of them actually had to seek new employment. I bet a whole lot of new positions suddenly became "necessary" in Dem offices. The same amount of staff (read: permanent) power just divided up in fewer offices.

Brit was on fire this morning on the first segment of the panel against Juan. As usual, no contest!
Brit: If President Bush lied about WMD's and had no authorization to go to war in Iraq, go read the Congressional resolution, then go read UNSCR 1441. If President Bush lied, Congress lied, President Clinton lied and the UN lied.

For the sake of argument, I wish every Freeper would write the RNC and Ken Mehlman asking for more Republican senators to start speaking out and going on the various talk shows more often. Anyone have an e-mail for Mehlman? Recently I have been writing my Congressmen more than they wish to hear from me - I really doubt it does any good. NONE of them (other than a couple) have stood up for GWB, and in fact it appears the RINOs are in opposition to GWB, and a lot of the rest of us. I think they are Rats in conservative clothing.

When Harry Reid became Minority leader, he started a "war room" that has a hugh staff from what I hear....
It lives up to it's name, I guess...he has declared war on President Bush..but he doesn't play nice...I would declare some of his speeches..."torture".

I have to add to your list of things that Congress has run away from.....border control.I agree with you. Congress either jumps on the bandwagon when things are going well or runs the other way when a hand is needed to either pull the load or steer.
