I don't know if she's liberal, as you say, but I do know that recently some libs tried to smear her with a rumor that she and Condi Rice have a lesbian thing, and she responded with the fact that she is not only heterosexual, but has very high standards for the men she dates: they must be decent, Christian men. That would be inconsistent with the idea she's a liberal, although I admit it's possible.
