"As far as I am aware, ALL hospitals are equipped with that drug to give to rape victims."

As I pointed out in another post, not all rape victims go to the hospital. Those without major injuries often feel more comfortable seeing a private physician who gives them a prescription that they have to fill. Moreover, there is a FP poster who has claimed to be an ER physician who proudly refuses to give the morning pill out to rape victims.

A rape victim who does not go to the police and allow evidence collection is enabling the rapist.

The only women I've ever met who were victims of violent crime but didn't want to go to the hospital or the police (I've known two of them) were living with the assailants. In both cases, they had a much bigger problem than something that could be fixed with a morning-after pill .

I thought then, and I think now, that any physician who knows a girl or woman has been assaulted and does not report it, is complicit in ongoing abuse.
