Any serious Christian could tell you there is passion beyond the imagination when one is a believer.
I suppose this is why the Christian US understands that islamics will spread their religion at all costs. The difference is of course that Christians have stopped crusading and Islam has not. Islam will continue to spread it's religion through violence and conquest.
Face it..France has lost it's Christianity and will soon be gone to islam.

Riots were always over quickly in the old days. The militia would be called out. The Commander would "read them The Riot Act," and give the crowd 5 minutes to disperse. The Riot Act authorized the use of deadly force to suppress a riot.
After five minutes, shots were fired if necessary and the riot would be over.
Some colonists tried to jail two British officers in Boston for firing on a crowd of rioters. John Quincy Adams defended them, successfully.
