As I was acting as a FR reporter on this one (as the caller) I hope this is OK in Breaking News

Where's the Fitz guy when you really need a exhaustive and thorough investigation?

Sorry, I just can't read these posts.
Back in the 80s, there were these ads in the NYC subways for a doctor that would remove anal warts and perform other such "unspeakable in public" procedures. He was known by his phone number MD-TUSCH.
(I may have a letter out of place, the "C", maybe. But ask anyone who rode the subways back then. They'll remember.)

Fitzy would have charged Jim Robinson for drinking coffee while posting or something similiar.

The governor sounded pissed at the local press but at least WBAL has kept after the story. I read somewhere that there was a bit of a contretemps between reporter Dave Collins and someone at the mayor's office. Sucks to be them.
To: Tanniker Smith
I remember MD-TUSCH about as well as Dr. Zizmore! Thank you, Dr. Zizmore!
Anyway, here's hoping Governor Ehrlich is correct and this whole sorry episode is put to rest once and for all.

The double standard of the media and was further discussed as the caller stated "Joe Steffen used sexual rumours to achieve a political goal, MD4BUSH did the same thing while in the process "outing" a fellow democrat-this just shows you how much MD democrats will do anything to stop you" The governor replied, "and again where are the cameras? The Governor missed an important opportunity to point out that Steffen did NOT use sexual rumors at any time in his public threads, and according to recent reports did not even do so in his private freepmails. All he did was to caution MD4BUSH that using sexual rumors was inappropriate.
What the governor should have pointed is that the cameras were all over the place when a lie was being spread about what Steffen had done, but that when an actual case of vicious rumor mongering by the Democrats was revealed, the cameras all disappeared.

Thanks.
The first thing that came to my mind re Fitzy investigating this mess, was Fitzy would have found some way to blame Jim Rob for the crimes of the rats.

democrat operative got an aide to the governor to comment online about infidelity rumours of Baltimore Mayor Martin Omally, If I remember correctly, Steffen said only said "I heard those rumours too" and it was MD4Bush who did all the talking. This was a setup from the get go.

Good work, and thank you! I really liked the way the Govenor kept mentioning the almost total lack of MSM attention once it was suspected that MD4BUSH was a Democratic operative working with a major media outlet (Washington Post).

Well, the Governor's staff isn't speaking to two Baltimore Sun reporters, so it's par for the course, I guess.
Have any idea who at the Mayor's office? There seems to be two main possibilities - Steve Kearney, who worked with Ryan O'Doherty and tried to get him a job at City Hall, or First Deputy Mayor Michael Enright, who spoke with Michelle Lane when she tried to get a job there. My guess is Steve Kearney.
