Why be suprised? Sex permeates Western Civilization and has for the last 50 years. Of course there will be people that are extremely influenced by the multiple promptings to engage in licentious behavior. Absent a revolution in manners and morals this type of behavior will only increase.
Unfortunately what you say is true. I am hoping for a "healing crisis" as in a febrile illness.
