Yeah I agree. The only good this debate brings out is the crystallization to many european minds that there are no nuanced arguements or shades of moral relativism. The choices are stark. The inevitable conclusion of Utopian socialisms practiced by Europeans in general has cultivated (by their indifference and hypocracy) a society of hate and violence in their midst. Since the ascent of national socialism (fascism) in the twenties & thirties has Europe come face to face with the reality of another barbaric movement known as Islamic fascism. Europeans are waking up (I hope they are) and are realizing that the enemy is among them.

Anti-Americanism may be chic and popular at wine & cheeses or intellectual get-togethers among white secular europeans. (and America!)That's because Americans won't kill you in the middle of the street for hating their country or insulting their christian faith. Hating America is an easy intellectual position (if you can call it that) because there won't be a rebuttal. Hating Islamic Jihadists on the other hand will result in your death. Michael Moore and all those limousine Libs will bash their country first because it is the safest intellectual position one can take. (If one's own physical state is the only thing you care to protect) There is no bravery in bashing America but there is in donning a uniform and fighting Islamic fascists in Iraq.
