I haven't really seen any reviews but I have heard something about a simulated gay sex scene in front of a superior officer. I don't want to see that crap in a military movie. What gets me is the commercials seem positive toward the military. It seems to me Hollywood is trying to pull a Million Dollar Baby on the viewers again. Our military deserves a positive movie. And I think people would go in droves to see a movie like that. A good military movie might help Hollywood's sagging numbers like Passion of the Christ did. But I guess Hollywood doesn't care about it's bottom line and only about the message they put out.

OOOORRRaah and it's many forms have been around for decades.

Not sure, but I think it began to emerge in the MC culture when Grey was Commandant.

I didn't hear it much in the late 70's but by around 1980 we had guys coming out of Ranger school who would use it now and again. By 1982 I would say it was fairly wide spread in use.

I'm sorry, but the trailer for Zathura brings back some very bad memories for me. When I was a kid, I found this board game buried at a construction site near my dad's shoe factory. I was playing it with a girl down the street when I got sucked into some Jungle for about 30 years...Bad memories.... :-)

North nails it. No redeeming qualities in the Marines in this movie. Only cynicism, crassness and even homosexuality.
