Al-Qaida claimed a squad of four Iraqi suicide bombers, including a husband and wife team, carried out the Ammam attacks with explosive belts after carefully staking out the hotels for a month. Jordan interrogated 12 suspects Friday who may have helped them.
The terror group's Iraqi branch issued its third Internet statement since Wednesday's nearly simultaneous attacks, saying the four Iraqis had the Radisson SAS, Grand Hyatt and Days Inn hotels under surveillance "to achieve greater accuracy in hitting the target."
It was believed to be the first time a married couple has carried out a suicide attack. The couple bombed the Days Inn after the woman "chose to accompany her husband to his martyrdom," the statement said.

When will the Media realize that this is another Crusade by Muslim extremist's!
A family that jihad's together, dies together.
They won't.
MSM and most of the world's media are not on our side or Israel's.
AQ can't start a civil war within Iraq so they're going to try to start one with a neighboring country.

The MSM is not on our side now. But they will be the next time we are hit here!
According to News reports they made a tactical error in walking past American's to kill more people!
The first married couple to blow themselves up.
If the sex was all that bad maybe they could have just divorced. Must have been a pug ugly couple.
"According to News reports they made a tactical error in walking past American's to kill more people!"
I caught that report too. Apparently there were quite a few Americans in the lobby of one of the target hotels but the bomber walked past them and went int where the Jordanian wedding party was.
And, Al Qaeda has claimed responsbility.
How is that possible? I thought that AQ wasn't in Iraq; nor any "innocent" Iraqis in QA?

It was believed to be the first time a married couple has carried out a suicide attack.Isn't that cute.
The family that bombs together burns in Hell together.
At least they were n ot from that crowd of 40,000 the Iranians say they have. It will take a while to work through all of them.
Absolutely right.
Don't be too sure about that. They're heavily invested and up to their eyeballs in trashing this country no matter what happens. If hurricane Katrina didn't teach you a lesson, it should.
One of the things our troops found in Iraq was that people were being kidnapped, and their entire families held hostage. The poor father became a suicide bomber in order to save the lives of their family.
So much for just going after The Great Satan. When is the ME going to wake up?
1) Who cares what those fanatics think and say?
2) Whi believes what those fanatics say?
3) The only thing that is relevant is the maggots responsible for this should be identified, hunted down, and garroted. Too long have we allowed Al Zarqawi and his hoods to continue this madness - and too long have we tolerated Syria's assistance to this bloddy savage.
Hotel staff said the man knelt to the ground and pulled at the faulty primer cord for his explosives, which finally detonated, blowing his body apart and killing three members of a Chinese military delegation, the police official added
