Then he could be even madder all the time.
Anyone who could write a post like this in response to this strong speech, and in light of what our soldiers are doing to keep us free, is to be pitied.
Tread. I really feel sorry for you.......but I'd appreciate it if you could keep your misery to yourself once in a while. I hate to see DU'ers made happy by freepers.....
Happy Veteran's Day, all! I thank God for this President, this great country, and the men and women in uniform who serve it.
I respect your posts and opinion--please respect my posts and opinion. George Bush promised to go after nations that harbor terrorists. It is known by all that Iran is building the IEDs that kill our troops. It is also known by all that Syria allows use of its borders to send terrorists to kill our troops.
I salute our troops. I do not salute Bush's handling of this war. He has been too policially correct, and the best of our best soldiers are getting killed in a foot war with thugs, when Bush should be going after nations that harbor, aid and abet terrorists with air strikes and financial warfare. We need to be fighting this war strategically, not tactically.
Your "pity" is misplaced. Do not pity me. Pity soldiers like my two nephews and my son who are in uniform fighting this war on terror with their hands tied behind their back by the Commander in Chief.
One final point . . . it is FACT that Bush called Manslaughter Kennedy a "fabulous U.S. Senator" and just within the last 48 hours praised Arlen Sphincter, two anti-American Marxists.
Pity the nation, not me, with quotes like that from our Commander in Chief.
