I suppose the death penalty is ok, but If it was up to me he would drink a quart of his own solution and let nature take its course.

What is really stupid about this is he could have given her Ipecac and gotten her to puke without damage to her throat.But I would guess he knew this and part of the thrill was watching her suffer.
