You might want to illuminate the rest of us about that one....must have made for some interesting talk a couple of years back(?)

Other: I'm still working on the image of James Durning climbing the cliffs at Normandy; but he always did play a good tough guy.

Steve is a retired Chief, E-9. His son flew F-14s and took his Dad up for a fling. Steve's last major engagement was the Gulf War where he was part of the advanced guard who drove those cool dune buggies and wreaked havoc behind enemy lines.

Steve told many tales. One of his other Jungle Buddies was Jesse Ventura. I asked him if Ventura was always the loud mouthed blowhard that he displayed as wrestler and Governor. Steve answered, "Yes, but there was no one he would rather have covering his back!"
