I would like to know who it is that is "quite hostile to others". The only place I can think of that could be described as such would be small area of the British controlled north Ireland. Considering all the many people of Christian faith living around the world in peace, this chosen view can be nothing but a twisted lie and Anti-Christian.
The various cleansings done in the name of Christianity against other Christian sects are well documented. The wars between the Protestants and Catholics and between the Catholics and Gnostics & Orthodox were quite bloody..
These didn't however, represent Christian values but the political machine using religion to hold its power..
We cannot white wash our history as being innocent to bloodshed.. what we must do is realize that all done in the name of Christianity doesn't represent Christ at all but people who use his name for power... We do ourselves a disservice when we try to hide our own bloody history...

I was obviouly refering to modern times, where the Christianity stands today.
Again I ask why is it that the only negative view is applied to Christians. And if you know anything about Christianity you would know that we are all born of sin. Any anti-Christian fool can point to a misuse of the religion from the long ago past but where did it take us and were do we stand today is what is most important.
Not who killed who hundreds of years ago with only a negative view of Christianity presented in a game. That is WRONG and should be boycotted.

And this, to me, is the reason for a seperation of CHURCH and state. To protect the Church from the corrupting influences of political power. Note, however, that I do not consider a seperation of church and state to be the same thing as a seperation of faith and state. There should be no "official" state church. The founders never conceived that this principle would be interpeted so as to prohihit American citizens from bringing their faith to their public and political activities.
