Liberalism - the classic use of the word - does mean exactly what the game describes. However, liberalism today means no freedom to those that may have a different opinion...

Funny, from the fall of the Empire in the West at least as far as the Early Modern Period, Christian Europe was stuck in relative "dark wages" while the Muslim world was not. And I don't think you'll find anyone anywhere more genuinely religious than Medieval European Christians.

Um... during the dark ages it was Christian Europe in the dark. muslim Northern Africa and muslim Spain were actually very enlightened and much more advanced.

I am not trying to be a jerk or anti-Christian here but these are just facts and I really would not want to see a fellow conservative make a fool of themselves by making this sort of statement.
