I guess if Americans can blame America then why in the hell can't the French.

Not too busy in France to slam the US.

This could be the solution for them. Blame the U.S. all the while that France is seeing riots destroy their nation. When they're done they'll never know what happened sparing them quite a bit of cognizance.

"The tendency is to leave Europe, not only France, (for) Iraq to fight the U.S. troops and the others," You should be worrying about the "yoots" currently rampaging throughout your country, Monsieur Bruguiere. And wishing that they too would leave for Iraq so that U.S. troops can deal with them the way you lack the spine to do so.

Some Muslims in Europe are going to Iraq to fight U.S.-led forces because they see the situation as similar to the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan in the 1980s, a top French anti-terrorism official said on Thursday. Excellent. So our strategy is working very well. Iraq has become the center front of the war on terror as President Bush has been telling us for over two years. The islamic terrorists have decided to fight us in Iraq, and it is in Iraq where we are annihilating them and we will continue to do so until they have very little power to do anything significant.

Screw the French. They are just reaping what their own government has sown. They need to blame us to keep their own citizens from marching on the seats of power with torches and re-instituting the guillotine. The French government failed to do their homework on just what sort of evil they allowed into their country and they are solely responsible for their "muslim situation" by not forcing assimilation and instead advocating an absurd notion of multiculturalism. These creatures will not assimilate into any culture that is not dominated by Islam and Sharia law. But fear not, I imagine Chirac will any day now call an emergency session to make Sharia the law of the land.

I don't get it. If we are like the Soviets, wouldn't that mean that the Afghanis would be fighting us like they did the Soviets? Or does French logic only apply where French corruption has been adversely affected.

Truth apparently escapes modern day leftist French weasels. The North African Algerian immigrants that are burning France are just treating France the same way France treated the Algerians that fought for their independence during Frances failed Algerian War. France lost that war against Muslims over 50 years ago. Apparently they still fail to grasp what the consequences of their Euro colonialism and their campaign of brutal war to prevent Algerian independence, will end up costing them.

So if his premise is that more than ever before, the radicals are leaving France to go to Iraq, then why does France have radicals (more than ever before) inflicting damage on it?

Holy Marde! Now it all makes sense (/sarc off) Does that mean we have our troops hiding out in the schools, markets and recruiting centers (shame on US if that's the case. I certainly don't remember the jihadi's in afghanistan taking out their own people back in the 1980s when the Soviets were there.

You mean all those "youths" aren't simply youths but Muslim? The word the media tried so very hard not to say?
