Because I've 'talked' with people here for long periods thinking they were a certain gender and it is just strange when you find out differently.
You know what – you're right about that. It's just a different feeling.
That has happened to me so many times. I go on and on for months often generally thinking that a poster is a male, then boom........ the poster will say something about their "hubby" or something like that. It is really amazing sometimes to find out you were wrong all along.
