I just saw a replay of M. Mapes on Spitball Chris Matthews' show.

She lamented, "I was a victim of a tremendous SWARMING blog attack."

LOL.

She also said on some other show (and I paraphrase) that it is not the STANDARD for the reporter and the news organization to make sure the report is factual, it is the standard for the citizens to prove their report wrong. Unbelievable!

I've been watching her the last couple of days as she makes the rounds. Every day she looks worse and worse.

You would think that with all that is going on today, the media would stop long enough to figure out that their profession is beginning to die and instead of attempting to save it, they just seem to be hastening it's death. I wonder if they've given any thought to what they'll do for a living if the media dies?

What is amazing to me is how she has changed her message (several times) with each interview she does. I have taped 5 of them so far: LKL; O'Gasbag; F&F; American Morning and Hardball.
