If this means what I think it does, they are firing, probably, the only person in the agency who is a dedicated, concerned, competent, employee. The folks in this country had better wake up and realize that our "intelligence" agencies are one of the few things standing between us and the bad guys. They are not intended to be the social club the CIA seems to have degenerated into.
So far, I've been very disappointed in their performance (although, the military agency does probably outperform its civilian counterpart, the CIA). Both have been lax, stuck in the Cold War model, incapable of cooperation, and, seemingly, unwilling to change.

The "CIA" has sucked for years AND the ONLY thing that can be done is MASS firings and DEMOLISH Langley and start over.

Well, that kinda is the nature of the American system. Change comes slow to our government, for better or worse, that is how the founding fathers made it (from what I learned in govt classes). On the other hand, if our intelligence agencies don't get a swift kick from somewhere (i.e. house cleaning), then the trouble will continue. It is time for some new blood in those systems, people who may not have as much experience, but have more than just their job interest at heart. What we need is a Rickover for the intelligence community, someone who won't take no for an answer from the politicians, and who has the highest standards for performance. If that man ever ran the CIA or DIA, I would definatly hold them in higher regard, it would be just as good and efficient as our nuclear navy, with only minor glitches, instead of being majorly FUBAR'd.
