True enough, but the fact that Santorum generates no enthusism among conservatives is his own fault. Santorum backed Specter when he could have been defeated by Toomey(as did Bush). We will watch that disasterous payback before Santorum's election. I think Santorum also participated in the choice of Frist as Senate leader---incredibly weak choice.

In my eyes, he could have partially redeemed himself by voting for the Coburn amendment, but he voted against it, along with most other senators.
