If someone paid me $100,000 to sit next to Bill and Hillary Clinton, I might take up the offer, provided that I could leave the scene five minutes later and go and take a cold shower. Oh... wait...

I shake my head in wonderment and profound sadness at the thought that this is a feature of our political life in teh early 21st Century. The Clintons, those perennial celebrities, continue to turn my stomach, but we have to admit that "contributions" through fundraisers are by now standard operating procedures for BOTH parties, and frankly, it's money WASTED no matter who's spending it.
