If Rush was a leftist celebrity, he would be on every talk show in America talking about overcoming addiction.

If only Rush would come out swinging and admit that the War on Drugs was a horrendous mistake, citing his own case as an example of prosecutorial excess. He has to admit that he and Tommy Chong find themselves on the same side in this war.

I didnt realize Chong was taking prescription medicines for a legitimate back pain.

Over medicating oneself is not the same as taking illegal drugs.

Dude, I think youre way off on this one.

If only.

Sadly that would be to venture beyond the Republican Party talking points and thus far enough into Professor Peter Psychosis territory that Mr Limbaugh'd be unlikely to ever get back.

That said, the "War on Drugs" is one of the [Very very few] truly horrendous errors made by my old boss, Ronald Reagan, since relentlessly compounded by the evil un-and-anti-American no-hopers who comprise the systemically-corrupt permenant feral bureaucracy, into a stupendously expensive, pointless and effective-results-less, forever, feral-gummint, Frankensteinian monster.
