Maybe he is trying to make this point. When things go wrong and you're not living right and busy voting for ungodliness, don't blame God for your problems and don't ask for His help unless you're willing to admit you're wrong and repent. In other words, don't jump in front of a Mac Truck traveling at a fast speed and expect not to die or suffer severe consequences. There is always a price to pay for sin.

And he applied that point directly to Dover, right? So -- according to you and Pat -- voting out the liars/perjurers who said that ID had nothing to do with God or religion is equivalent to "not living right and...voting for ungodliness." Interesting logic.
I would think the logic would apply better to those liars/perjurers, and those supporting them, not the ones who voted them out. AND -- perhaps you were not aware of it, but the slate of candidates that won [which consisted of four dems and four repubs] has stated publicly that ID should be allowed in school -- but not in science class.
"Voting for ungodliness" -- good grief! I cannot believe the extremes people will go to in order to defend "Liars for the Lord."
