Bashir Nafeh, director of military intelligence chief in the West Bank, was named as being among the dead. He had stopped in Amman with Colonel Abed Allun, a high-ranking security official, and Rawhi Futtah, the commercial attache at the Palestinian Embassy in Egypt and brother of the speaker in the Palestinian parliament.  All three were staying in the Grand Hyatt.

I find it interesting that Zarqawi has taken to knocking off potential allies.

I would have no problem if Zarqawi expedited his attacks on Muslims.....they gotta see the light one of these days...

It is America and Bush's fault. If we didn't build the hotels and if it wasn't for Bush's evil Crusader plans, the wonderful freedom fighters would have never done it! So there!

Karma sure can be a bitch sometimes.

It seems they love targeting the more moderate Muslim countries, I'd suggest that Turkey heightens it's security, just in case.

I wonder if this was a Hamas-sponsored assassination, made to look like a Zarqawi attack.

He's a rabid animal and I wouldn't be suprised if some of his comrades put him down themselves someday.

The idea of this being a false flag operation occurred to me as well.

Zarqawi, I believe, is Jordanian by birth. Ordinary Jordanians were heard chanting "Zarqawi is a traitor" and "Zarqawi is not Jordanian" - good for them!

A few days ago Hamas asked Jordan to move their head-quaters there. Jordan said NO.

Fascinating. Maybe the real targets were hit, regardless of the al-Q website yammering.

Queen Rania of Jordan was quite happy to stand with CHERIE BLAIR and smirk when Cherie Blair said about suicide bombers in Israel....

" when people have no hope".

Zarqawi is a palestinian. It is his intention to distablilize the Jordanian government, King Abdullah.

The country has a large palestinian population.

When I heard that the bombs had ball bearings embedded it was clear this was a palestinian tactic aimed at the government.

For now it has backfired but there is trouble to come.

Three senior figures in the Palestinian administration were among at least 56 people killed in suicide bomb attacks on three luxury hotels in Jordan,

they must have been collaborators, they were at an “American” hotel.

Wouldn't be surprised. Hamas hates the PA.
