Some health care officials are urging local governments to start providing health care services for the region's illegal aliens -- or get ready for more outbreaks of contagious diseases like tuberculosis. "Unless you're able to do something about the immigration issue, if you cut services to all undocumented ... that's very stupid," said Francisco Semiao, education and outreach coordinator at George Washington Cancer Institute. "You're going to have a bunch of people walking around with who knows what, spreading Lord knows what," he said. "They ride the Metro seven days a week, and you do the math." Although most local hospitals said they do not record a patient's legal status, some physicians said the fear of deportation deters many illegals from seeking treatment in emergency rooms.

Law breakers do not require "integration" but arrest and deportation.

Sure, but it's not happening. We the people have to deal with the hand the FedGov dealt us, and that means the States are stuck with it. The Corporations have about five times the resources of FedGov and about five times the power. We might consider approaching the Corporations to resolve the problem, since we own the Corporations and they appear to be more responsive than Gummint. Besides, it appears the Corporations are encouraging this situation in the first place. The law comes from below, from the people. The illegals are not so much law breakers, but extralegal, and that is they way it is in 80% of the world. That's right, the third world is arriving in the most capitalist of the Western countries, and Gummint cannot deal with it. It's happening everywhere, France being the latest Western country to get a sharp stick in the eye. Gummint cannot handle it, but the Corporations might.
We could either spend money treating them or spend money building a double thick concrete wall running the length of the border. Hmmm. Let me think.

The illegals are very much law breakers because they are in this country illegally. Don't try to paper it over by saying that's the way it is everywhere else.

We the people don't have to do any such thing. In case you've forgotten, or perhaps went to public school, the government works for us. The states are only stuck with it to the extent we refuse to insist the federal government enforce our immigration laws. You seem to feel this is too much to ask.
Your comments indicate a very large gap in your understanding of the illegal alien problem. To catch up, you need to do a lot of homework.
Gummint is riding a tiger now. Gummint, huge though it is, does not have the resources anymore to deal with the tiger and can only hope to not get thrown off. I appreciate your suggestions for further education and am already expanding my reading list. I won't bore you with suggestions of my own since I do not know the extent of your personal library of appropriate reading.
They won't use it if it's offered for free, either. I know personally of a situation where an illegal had health benefits, but lied to Social Services (don't ya love the name...) about her employment, and was put on welfare. She used Medi-Cal, so Cali citizens got to pick up the tab.

That appears to be the approach of Corporations. The Corporations own FedGov. Pressuring Gummint at this point would appear to be futile since we are losing the bidding wars. So, put pressure where it counts: we own the Corporations.
The federal government problem is not lack of resources. It is lack of will, a desire to give business what it wants in the way of cheap labor, and a party that has morphed into the hispandering GOP Big Tent of RINOs, liberals and moderates.
You really do need a lot of study here.

Don't let them get under your skin. Thats what this forum is for. Whether we agree, disagree or agree to disagree always speak whats on your mind. Who knows you may spawn a whole new angle on the issue.
What should one expect when growing from the Goldwater minority to the recently dominant party? Do all the newcomers change their minds and suddenly accept the Wisdom? Cast them all out! Become irrelevant once more.

If one's opinions are readily accepted, it is only that they are already well and generally understood. When what one says finally becomes incomprehensible to everyone, then it is time to write the book. LOL

There is a problem with tinkering with the Corporations. The Corporations are the reason that American commerce has come to dominate the world. While the Corporations are the true power, they are also the Golden Goose, so beware!
