What we need is ANWR left a wide-open space filled with a few very productive oil wells and pumping stations.

And when ANWR runs out, where will you drill next?

Where will you drill when there is no oil left?

We'll have to stop acting like oil is limitless sooner or later.

How long do you want to postpone the inevitable?

The longer you wait, the worst it will be.

If there's oil in ANWR, leave it there.

At the very least it would be there for us in the event of a genuine national emergency--a war or something.

Instead so many spoiled people who have exhibited no self control, want to continue feeding their appetite for cheap oil by sucking up every bit of it in sight.

Any emergency or war would be long over before oil from ANWR could be drilled for and refined. And its not like drilling in Alaska would solve all our problems like being held as econimic hostages by people who by and large would like to see us all dead.
