Good Question.
From my perspective I think there is a difference between those who are critical of our President on certain issues and those who have an entire laundry list of everything he's done wrong followed by comments about leaving the Republican party, going to vote Dem next time, blah blah blah.
You are absolutely correct that we must remain true to our principles and speak up when we disagree with what's going on. But like in a marriage, I can tell my husband, in a constructive manner that something he is doing (or not doing) is upsetting me. It is quite another thing to scream "I'm going to divorce you if you don't...." every time he does something I disagree with.
I don't know if that's a good analogy, but hey, I tried. LOL :)
O.K., FReepers need to ask themselves this and answer it first.
Meanwhile, I'll take a stab at it:
I, for one, am not demoralized any more now than I was last fall. I tried to warn you all, but all I got was flamed for my efforts.
If any FReepers are more demoralized now, it is only because they did not see it coming.
Good luck to you.
