I don't see any problem with Gates spending his money to try and discover a vaccine for malaria. In places where DDT is on the banned list, the vaccine might be the only way to save lives.

I agree with Gates giving for vaccines.. I would rather see private citizens freely give of their own choice to things that they believe in that the government forcing everyone to give to things they may or may not believe in..
Now when Soros and his ilk try to influence our political system so he can make more money by speculating the dollar down, that is another story..
