I think it is YOU who has fallen for the PC Hate of Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart did not rename products like Christmas Trees, or Christmas Bouquets into Holiday Trees or Holiday Bouquets. Those items that traditionally use the Christmas title still have it.
Wal-Mart did not bend to PC. You over-reacted due to some personal hatred of Wal-Mart.
1. It is absolutely foolish for any company to believe that be appeasing the left, they will reduce their vulnerability to attacks from the left.
2. Christmas and Hannukah are religious holidays. "Kwaanza" is a political statement by race hustlers, felons and hard-core radical leftists that is being passed off as a quasi-religious, quasi-cultural, quasi-holiday as part of an ongoing campaign to undermine Western / American culture. Recognition of Kwaanza as anything else entails buying into the big lie.
3. Walmart's most loyal defenders and customers are the red state Americans who appreciate hearing the words "Merry Christmas". A thoughtful analysis of the targeted markets for expanded sales generated through "holiday diversity" compared with the lost sales of alienated core customers would suggest that this is a poorly thought-through strategy by our friends in Benton Arkansas!
