The thing that I think should be legislative are the warnings. I think that if a show says that it is for kids but doesn't follow the guidelines, then they should be penalized.

We have a TIVO and a password, but still some of the shows are unacceptable.

Hi, luckystarmom! I think I will have to think about that one. I know it must be hard for young parents today trying to find suitable entertainment, but I don't want the government deciding what's good and what isn't. One thing about government it just doesn't stop. Look at Social Security for an example. SS was never supposed to be this massive bureaucracy, but our elected representatives just can't help themselves. I would see them eventually censoring anything and everything that offends them including political speech. That's troublesome.
