To: Indy Pendance

You don't have any kids, do you? Because if you did, you'd feel differently about this. I don't want the gov't censoring anything. But I DO want accountability in the entertainment industry. How do we do that? I don't really know, but somebody with a brain has to figure something out because the problem's getting so bad that even dems are noticing. Now that's bad...


"I don't care what the play on TV. If they want to play porn, it's no sweat off me. I'm not going to watch it. It's an option to have a TV, it's not a necessary item for survival. You can live without TV. It's called responsibility. You can opt out of tv."

If you'd read the thread, you'd have known my kids are 23, 22, and 19. I censored my kids, I didn't depend upon the government to do it. I know my kids better than they do. My oldest is a med student, and I allowed her to watch stuff that I wouldn't let the others watch. My middle is a soldier in Iraq protecting our freedoms. My youngest is still figuring it out. The solution it to get rid of the tv. If enough did, the marketeers would have to rethink their programming options.
