Good shootin indeed and a good attitude toward self defense, but "muddy footprints" in alington tx? we havent seen a decent rain in 5 months. Its bone dry, stock ponds are empty.

Hmmmmm

I plan to buy the equipment to load my own ammo very soon. I think it would be fascinating to take down an attacker with ammo that I loaded! :)

Would be like saying "this one had your name all over it!!"

I did lots of research before I bought my .44
It was shown as one of the top 3, most likely to drop the target with a minimum of advance. In other words...you shoot him, he's gonna fall! I need to be able to drop a person on a dime (He's already warned me he will come after me when he gets out of prison).

She should have called the police and let them go in to find him.

She might not have had a choice. Before I had a gun, my alarm company called me. When I got home my garage and interior door were open. Still no police. I waited an hour. Finally, I went in with two big dogs a stick and my cell phone. Stupid, I know, but I was mad and had to get back to work. Everything was ok but the police still hadn't showed up by the time I left.

I love my .44, and find it very easy to fire. I had it serviced...the guy that did the work took the trigger from a 6 pound to a 3 pound trigger pull. Very smooth!

Barely any recognizable kick (or maybe I'm just concentrating very hard and don't notice it).

I would like the extra mag capacity...my .44 is only a five shot, and it's hard to carry extra in your purse.

I was considering getting a .45 or a 9 mil as my next weapon of choice. I also plan on getting a shoulder holster so I can wear it under my professional outfits.

BTW...Hope you are doing well...don't see you much lately! :)

I hope France pays attention to this.

My post# 19 was a kudos if I didn't make that clear!

I respect the hell out of people who know more about guns than I do here on FR and that is most folks!

Take Care,

Somebody was watering a yard?

It hasn't rained here in weeks and my dogs still find a way to get their paws wet, muddy and then track up the kitchen.

What are you shooting? a desert eagle?

Thats a big ol gangsta ass gun L0L

3 lb pull is awful lite, be careful. Ive been shooting a .357 SW revolver that has a custom trigger and sometimes that thing barks when it shouldnt. Hi stress situations would be even more likely to result in negligent discharge.

Stay safe out there

"...She should have called the police and let them go in an find him..."

Not everyone has cell phones. If not, you have to go in with the burglar and make your telephone call.

In which situation would you be better off: confronting him with your revolver or sitting down to make a call and wait for the police to arrive later?
