Last week I had the priviledge to attend a fund raising dinner whose keynote speaker was Dennis Praeger. It was an event sponsored by both the Christian and Jewish community in Nashville Tn to raise funds to make a documentary film in support of Israel.

Dennis was going to talk about bias in the media but when he saw 300 Christian and Jewish people sitting in a room together enjoying each others company and vision he decided to talk on this "new" love and respect he is seeing between Evangelical Christians and Jews. He said our common values far outweigh our religious differences.

There is a huge coming together of these two faiths to combat the cultural changes that are trying to destroy our country. Yes, it will be the Christian Right that will stand up to any anti semeticism in this country however when men like Foxmen and organizations like the ACLU keep attacking Christianity in this country it will be hard to keep the tide from turning. THAT NONE OF US WANT.

I think the Conservative Jewish voice should be far more vocal publicly to denounce Foxman and the ACLU so as to stop their destructive agenda. Just as Americans are crying out for the Muslim population to stand up and denounce radical Islam so are the Christians crying for the Jewish voice to publicly and loudly denounce Foxman and the ACLU.

I think many of us are moving towards that. It's been happening a lot in private, but doing it in public is not an action held in high esteem. However, it looks like an inevitability at this point.

The ACLU is not Jewish. In values, outlook or action. Though quite a few Jews do belong to it, unfortunately. Foxman is, however, quite an embarassment. He's not the most popular guy in the Jewish community either. He's more like an intellectual celebrity: quoted in the Jewish papers because he's famous, and with little other reason.
