but you're right. it is now time to turn over the money changers' tables.

Mind if I borrow that?

As for the original post, some I agree with, some I don't. the line about the kids sent to War struck me as off. However, the gist is that people want the administration to fight back.

I realize some folks will take any opportunity to bash the President. I realize some folks think defense of him in any and all circumstance is necessary and noble because he has so many disadvantages including the MSM. It feels wrong to join in any chorus of discontent.

But I also think some folks on this board have got to face reality. Many people that love this President, respect him, defended him five long years through highs and lows, cheered him, have prayed for him...are not being critical for the sake of it. We're not being critical because we want to take advantage of a low ebb. We're being critical because we sense something we never have before. That the fight is gone. He's off course, and if not corrected, he'll hit that iceberg up ahead.

That was in part what the fuss over Miers concerned. Saving him from himself. He NEEDS to start fighting back. Against Dems, against the RINO's, against the MSM, against the CIA and all trying to sabotage him and this country's well being. I want my President back, I miss him. And if being vocal gets that Texan back on his feet so be it. He listened about Miers, and I'm praying he'll listen now. It's time to Fight back Mr. President. No hold barred.

while i agree with much of what you say, i do not believe the "fight is gone" in dubya. i believe he is discouraged, worried about his mission and his focus, and off course.

personally i have confidence that harriet miers would have been a conservative pick, and that dubya was trusting his instincts on that one. i believe that he turned to her because she has been there in his saddest most reflective hours, and he felt if he could not trust her on that most important task, then who?

but i have sensed a need to pray for him lately, more than ever before, and i am not one to post perfunctory daily prayer requests on this or any other board. we cannot even begin to imagine how bleak and difficult his nights are, and i know he grieves greatly with each injury and death of young (and old) courageous soldier who fights for the name and safety of this magnificent country.

if he truly believes that he has listened to God's direction in his life, he has to be wondering what has been going wrong lately.

but the darkest hours teach the greatest lessons. i trust God's hand in this. He will not leave us empty.

oh, and feel free to "borrow" any of my words...that's one reason i post:>
